캐나다 출신의 스튜디오 엔지니어인 Glenn Fricker는 1997년부터 현재까지 팝, 펑크를 비롯하여 데스메탈까지 다양한 영역에서 활동을 이어왔으며, 2004년 Unrestrained Magazine에서 "올해의 앨범"을 수상하는 등 전세계 음악인들에게 가장 큰 영향을 주고있는 인물 중 한명으로 인정받고 있습니다.

Revv Amplification 초창기 시절부터 함께해온 그는, 진부하고 무미건조한 기타 톤의 틀에서 벗어나 스웨덴 데스메탈과 전기톱을 연상케하는 미국 하드코어의 상징적인 메탈 사운드 개발을 위해 Revv 특유의 하이게인 톤과 전설적인 HM-2* 사운드에서 받은 영감을 결합하여 Northern Mauler 페달을 개발하였습니다.
차별화된 기술력으로 적용된 "Bite" & "Growl" 노브로 Chainsaw Circuit의 고음역대와 저음역대를, Blend 노브를 통해 Amp Circuit, Chainsaw Circuit의 비율을 Blending 하여 플레이어가 원하는 완벽한 균형을 컨트롤할 수 있을뿐만 아니라 Gain/Saturation을 동시에 컨트롤하는 Giv'r노브까지! 한계가 없는 다양한 기능을 하나의 페달에 담았으며, 시그니처모델답게 Custom Bear Graphic & Glenn Fricker Signature와 함께 Gloss white finish를 적용하여 세련된 디자인의 외관을 자랑합니다.
